Enhanced user experience and accessibility on the EUIPO’s website

A revamped version of the EUIPO website has been launched. Key updates include a more compact homepage, new and improved information architecture, and enhanced performance, all aimed at improving user experience and accessibility. The changes result from extensive consultations with users and other stakeholders following the launch of the EUIPO website in 2023.

Resembling the user journey, the homepage now offers direct access to the most used content and applications. The search process has also been streamlined with a prominently positioned block linking to various tools, making navigation easier.

Content is now available in the five EUIPO official languages with high-quality human translation. For the other 18 EU official languages, an on-demand machine translation service is implemented, ensuring users can access content in their preferred language.

Further improvements are also planned for the EUIPO website. In the coming weeks a new User Area for the website will be launched which will provide numerous benefits and improvements for users and stakeholders.
These changes are part of our ongoing efforts to improve our digital services for the benefit of our users. Feedback has been crucial in this process and the main driver of the updates; we will continue to listen to our users in order to satisfy their needs to provide the best online experience possible.
